Welcome to Dr. Maryam Guiahi's practice, where compassionate, evidence-based reproductive and gynecologic care is her priority. She is one of the only double-board certified ob-gyns in the Central Coast of California who specializes in Complex Family Planning, making her an expert in family planning services and reproductive care. She has vast clinical experience with contraception, sterilization, miscarriage management, and supporting patients faced with abnormal and unintended pregnancies. She has medical and surgical experience in treating pre-cancerous conditions including abnormal pap smears, vulvar lesions, and endometrial hyperplasia. Dr. Guiahi manages perimenopausal and menopausal needs often with hormone therapies, including bioidentical hormones. She has recently expanded her expertise to include sexual medicine to address concerns like pain, changes in interest and orgasm. With a background that spans academic, public health, and community settings, she brings a wealth of diverse experiences and is excited to support patients needing reproductive care at all stages of their life on the Central Coast.
